Meet Karen Perkins – Searchmate’s Dating Coach

Karen joined Searchmate originally in 2014 as a Dating Coach, helping clients dating experiences go smoothly, to get the most from them and most importantly to enjoy them. Her background is as a Life & Dating Coach. She has run her successful coaching practice for 12 years after a career in senior management with Housing & Community organisations.

Karen is based in Sheffield but coaches across the UK and globally by Skype. She regularly speaks on dating & relationship issues on BBC Radio Sheffield, Radio 5 and student radio stations. She has been featured in Prima Magazine, Saga Magazine, the Sheffield Star & Telegraph & the Daily Telegraph amongst others.

Following her own divorce, Karen tried lots of different ways to meet a new partner, online & offline, all valuable learning for her coaching. She met her partner of over 7 years offline through a “speeddate walking” event she set up, just to prove that our type of dating works!
